There is an overwhelming array of recording software, microphones, pre-amps, mixing boards, sound processing and effects units, instructional manuals, and on and on and on, you get dizzy just thinking about what everything is and what you need to build your studio.

Once your studio gear is purchased and plugged in, the learning curve required to run your own recording sessions and begin basic music editing in a digital environment in a manner which compares with the big boys in the business is awesome. Bottom Line, producing you own CD requires a life commitment to learning the gear and learning the required recording and mixing techniques.
